I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ

A wild and savage display of this trio's immense creativity and songwriting skill. A harbinger of what was to follow later in their spectacular career. The hidden bonus track is the most fucked up and entertaining piece of music I have heard in my life to this day. David Fischer

Slice the Cake are a band with a wide array of influences; their will to experiment with those and create completely diverse sounding songs seems to be adamant. These words sum up Other Slices quite concisely. There's more to say. Just like the Cleansed EP and TMWNF, this collection of songs is a proof of musical and creative, personal determination. Of course OttW is this band's best release, but in terms of versatility, Other Slices is their most entertaining one by far. Go bake them cake now. David Fischer

Dark and twisted, heavy yet melodic. TMWNF is a journey through identity, and the lack thereof. Few works encapsulate the feeling of desperation quite the same way. John Rowland
